What is CBD?

Carla

CBD stands for Cannabidiol. It is a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. It is one of 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants and accounts for up to 40% of the plant's extract. While CBD is an essential component of medical marijuana, it is derived directly from the hemp plant, which is a cousin of the marijuana plant. While CBD is a component of marijuana, by itself it does not cause a “high.” It is readily available and legal to purchase and use.

CBD has not been found to cure any diseases. Speak to your doctor before using.
